What is Covid-19?

What happens if you get Covid-19?
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a contagious infection caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
This virus spreads quickly and is lethal all over the world. It has become so dangerous that countries have implemented lockdown and safety measures.
In Singapore, our government has designed a scheme to assist us with our medical fees when visiting a GP, which means we will only have to pay $5 or $10 if we have flu symptoms that fall under the subsidy scheme.
Furthermore, those with flu symptoms are advised by doctors to undergo a PCR Swab and Send Home (SASH) test, which is fully covered by the government.
Not to mention the vaccine for all Singaporeans, which our government made it free for all of the citizens to encourage all them to take the jab in order to safeguard themselves and the community.
So what will happen if you are tested positive?
MOH will then contact you for your conveyance to a healthcare facility for further management.
