What is Covid-19?

Back in December 2019, there is a cluster cases of ‘viral pneumonia’ emerged in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China. It was later reported that it was caused by bat. It first spread within China and then to other countries rapidly. This virus is transmitted through water droplets in the air or through contact with contaminated area or object, such as an infected cough or sneeze.

Who is at most risk?

Close contact with live animals
Contact with infected person
People working in Healthcare industry
People with health conditions
Elderly
People with weak immune system

What are the symptoms of Covid-19?

Shortness of breath
Fever
Dry Cough
Fatigue
Loss of taste or smell
Muscle or body aches
Nausea & Vomiting
Diarrhea

Consult our doctor if you have any of the symptoms listed above.
They will run PCR and (if necessary) ART tests on you. The results of ART will be available in just 20 minutes. PCR results, on the other hand, will be available in 1-2 days. An SMS will be sent to the phone number you provided in our clinic.

What happens if you get Covid-19?

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a contagious infection caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.

This virus spreads quickly and is lethal all over the world. It has become so dangerous that countries have implemented lockdown and safety measures.

Not to mention the vaccine for all Singaporeans, which our government made it free for all of the citizens to encourage all them to take the jab in order to safeguard themselves and the community.

So what will happen if you are tested positive?

You are required to put on a mask immediately and isolate yourself in a room.
Maintain good personal hygiene such as washing your hands with soap and water frequently.
Avoid having contact with any family members and using of the same utensils.
Monitor your temperature and symptoms. If your symptom gets worse, do call your healthcare provider. If emergency, please call 995 immediately and inform the operator of your Covid positive results.

MOH will then contact you for your conveyance to a healthcare facility for further management.
